What is the JOY AS DEFIANCE exhibition about?

JOY AS DEFIANCE called upon a wide community of artists to take inspiration from children’s view of the word (through their artworks) and present artworks in response to these. The exhibition houses an open call to artists and non-artists to present their responses, in a similar celebration of the magic of how children see the world.

All proceeds from this exhibition go towards the A Way Home Campaign.

UPCOMING EVENTS

During the course of the exhibition at NO END Contemporary Art Space, a series of workshops and talks will be hosted to establish further conversation on the topic of Ambiguous Loss. Art and the exhibition format are thus positioned as a form of activism, in this instance, as positive defiance which serves to open up conversation.
