Made in response to a drawing by Ivan Calitz.
Vicki writes, “This artwork came from an emotional place due to the emotional nature of the exhibition. I wanted to draw from the concept of a child and turn the inherent joy and exploration of creation into something bittersweet, capturing the feeling of being both lost and trapped. I wanted to create something that would simply look like a pretty picture to some but would carry some weight with the context of the concept to others.”
