Made in response to a drawing by Vera Calitz.

Neil writes, “This image responds to the drawing ‘rainbow sun’. I was immediately drawn to the landscape. The image is beautiful and holds so much charm. It also made me think of the song Rainbow River by Vashti Bunyan. I thought about the weirdness of being a kid, the relationship with our parents a lot while making this piece. But ultimately it stood out how much work I had to put into making an image to capture what is so intuitively present within children’s drawings in general.”
