Made in response to a drawing by Vera Calitz.

Phili writes, “When I first saw the drawing “Rainbow Monster” I fell in love with this joyful monster which felt totally opposite to the way I thought of monsters as kid, which was only in dark corners or disguised as a pile of clothes with glowing eyes and sharp teeth. I wanted to take that idea of darkness and combine it with something more happy which for me is the universe that is a child’s bedroom and all the treasures and trinkets they collect. This monster is just looking for a friend and doesn’t mind when they accidentally collect a sock and a snack(or two) in the process!”
